Ian Kinard brought size, versatility, and proven scoring punch to South Carolina State
Kinard is a 6-foot-8 forward whose calling card has been versatility: he can score inside, stretch the floor a bit, and rebound, which made him a tough matchup for South Carolina State. In his high school senior season, he averaged 17.0 points and 8.0 rebounds, and SC State called him its most versatile signee because he could play in the paint or on the wing. He later showed he could contribute in multiple roles for the Bulldogs, making him a strong fit for teams that value positionless, physical forwards.
