Cameron Carmical

Veteran EKU guard with high-IQ, pass-first roots

Cameron Carmical is best known as a steady, team-first guard whose game was built on production and poise rather than flash. In high school, he piled up a school-record 1,764 points with 683 assists and 531 rebounds, then brought that lead-guard feel to Eastern Kentucky, where his early college seasons showed touch from three and a willingness to do the little things. What makes him interesting is the combination of basketball IQ, academic discipline, and unselfish play—he looks like the kind of player a coach trusts to organize a group, keep the offense moving, and compete without needing the spotlight.
