Tallen Hulvey brings ball-hawk DNA and all-conference pedigree to Dayton’s safety room
Tallen Hulvey enters the 2026 season as a 5-foot-11, 180-pound sophomore safety for Dayton after not appearing in games as a freshman in 2025, but his recruiting profile pops: three-time Defensive Back of the Year, three-time All-GCC, and a high school record-holder for both single-season and career interceptions. That combination screams instinct, range, and playmaking upside, with enough track background to hint at real burst. If your team wants a competitive, turnover-minded defensive back with a strong résumé and room to grow, Hulvey looks like a smart long-term fit.
