Tyler Hartley gives Marist a battle-tested strike-thrower with Friday-night upside
Tyler Hartley is a durable right-hander for Marist who handled a full workload in the 2026 season, leading the staff with 59.0 innings and 38 strikeouts while starting all 14 of his appearances. He’s not just eating innings; he’s shown flashes of real competitiveness, including a 7-strikeout start in March 2026 and a 6.1-inning outing with only one earned run in April. The fit is clear: he brings experience, toughness, and academic discipline, though his 7.32 ERA and .328 opponent average show he’s more work-in-progress than finished product.
