Morgan Drotter brings a polished bat, high softball IQ, and upside for Cornell
In the 2026 season, Morgan Drotter appeared in 20 games with 12 starts and hit .256 with 11 hits, 8 runs, 1 double, 1 home run, and 9 RBI, showing steady freshman-year production with a breakout game at Dartmouth and first collegiate homer against Harvard.[8] Cornell’s coaching staff described her as fundamentally sound, well-coached, and a player with a strong foundation and high softball IQ, which suggests a reliable outfield fit who can help in smart, low-mistake ways.[4][7]
