SWAC Newcomer of the Week with Clutch RBI Power and Graduate-Level Intensity
Jaibriel Terrell, a 5'10" graduate student outfielder for Alabama State, stands out as the SWAC's 2025 Newcomer of the Week, delivering clutch RBI doubles and bunt singles in critical games like the 4-0 win over Jackson State. Beyond his .275 junior average and 11-40 hitting record, Terrell differentiates himself with graduate-level intensity, an MBA candidate mindset, and Chi Alpha Sigma discipline that fuels relentless defensive hustle and base-running aggression. His injury history is clean, and his personality blends playful confidence with serious sports management ambition, making him a high-fit, low-risk athlete who brings both statistical value and team culture elevation to any roster.
