Alex Bray brings power, versatility and a sturdy run-stopping floor to Kansas
In the 2025 season, Bray logged 21 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss for Kansas after transferring from Illinois, and his best calling card is positional flexibility: KU used him as both an interior and edge piece, which is huge for a defensive front that wants matchup answers. At 6-4, 265, he looks built to set the edge, squeeze run lanes and give effort snaps that show up on film beyond the box score. He’s not a headline sack producer, but he is a useful, physical fit for a team that values toughness and schematic versatility.
