In the 2025-26 season, Lawson was one of the OVC’s most complete guards, averaging 16.7 points, 4.1 assists, and 1.8 steals while ranking among the league leaders in threes made, assists, scoring, and free-throw accuracy. He also played huge minutes and rarely came off the floor, which says a lot about his value and toughness. At 6-foot-7, he brings unusual size for a guard, plus versatility, defensive activity, and late-game confidence.
