Temple safety Jamarcus Pierre is a speed-first developmental defender with special-teams juice
In the 2025 season, Jamarcus Pierre redshirted after making his college debut for Temple, logging his first tackle against East Carolina and a season-high four tackles at North Texas, which points to a young safety still earning snaps but already contributing when called on. Temple lists him at 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, and his high school résumé plus recruiting notes show real burst: he was a track athlete, a fast corner/safety prospect, and a multi-phase player with 47 tackles, two interceptions, and kick-return experience at Cardinal Gibbons. If you want a tough, athletic, upside play who can help on special teams now and grow into more defensive responsibility, he’s a fit.
