Mackenzie North
Left-Handed Pitcher/First Baseman SO Charleston Southern
Mackenzie North brings left-handed versatility and lineup upside to Charleston Southern
North, a 6-foot-1 left-handed pitcher/first baseman, was praised by Charleston Southern for bringing size, athleticism, and versatility, plus a strong left-side bat and depth in the circle. In her 2024 signing-class profile, she was coming off a high-school season with a .386 average, 4 doubles, 3 home runs, and 28 strikeouts in 34 innings, and she’s since been used as a two-way piece for the Bucs. That kind of profile matters: she offers matchup value, defensive flexibility, and a useful blend of power potential and pitchability for a roster that can plug her in multiple spots.
