Hudson Gibbs brings walk-on toughness and special-teams juice to UCF
Hudson Gibbs is a local, high-effort defensive back whose value has been built on reliability, speed, and toughness rather than gaudy box-score production. In 2024, he appeared in seven games mostly on special teams, after seeing action in three games in 2023 and logging his first career tackle at Oklahoma in 2023. His profile stands out for versatility and athletic traits—he was clocked at 4.52 in the 40 and showed return-game ability in high school—making him the kind of depth piece coaches like: fearless, coachable, and useful in the gritty roles that win Saturdays.
