Laletia Hale is Jacksonville State’s tone-setting linebacker and 2024 green-dot leader
In the 2024 season, Hale emerged as Jacksonville State’s defensive heartbeat, starting all 14 games, finishing third on the team with 83 tackles, and leading the Gamecocks with four forced fumbles while adding 8 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He was also the first player in program history to wear the coach-to-player “Green Dot,” signaling trust, command, and communication skills beyond the box score. That combination of production, playmaking, and leadership makes him a strong fit for teams that want a physical, vocal linebacker who can diagnose quickly and create turnovers.[1]
