Zheric Hill is stepping into the spotlight as Louisiana Tech’s new Mike linebacker
After posting 34 tackles in 11 games as a true freshman in the 2025 season, Hill is projected to start at middle linebacker in 2026, a strong sign the staff trusts his instincts and run-stopping presence. He’s a compact, physical 6-foot, 230-pound defender who arrived with a winner’s résumé from Ruston High, where he helped power a state title team.
