Reese Oakley brings a hard-nosed right arm and proven strikeout track record to Murray State
Oakley is a 5-foot-11, right-handed pitcher who profiles as a competitive, strike-throwing arm with real swing-and-miss tools, including a fastball in the low-to-mid 80s, a sharp 1/7 curveball, and a usable slider that help him miss bats and attack the zone. In his 2025 Murray State season, he logged 13.0 innings with 20 strikeouts against 4 walks for a 3.46 ERA, showing promising efficiency and bat-missing ability. He also arrives with a history of high-volume work and award recognition in high school, which suggests durability and a pitcher’s mentality.
