Tory Gethers brings proven tackle production and disruptive run support to New Mexico State
Gethers looks like a useful **middle-of-the-defense** linebacker: in the 2025 season he posted **87 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks** at New Mexico State, and his junior-college track record showed he could pile up stops, create turnovers, and even earn weekly defensive honors. He stands out more for **activity, physicality, and instinct** than splashy ball-hawking numbers, which makes him a strong fit for a team needing a reliable tackler who plays with urgency and can help stabilize the run defense.
