Northeastern Soph RHP Andrew Basel: 19 Ks, 2 Saves, High-Intensity Pitcher with 3 Years Eligibility
Andrew Basel, a 6'2", 210-lb right-handed pitcher for the Northeastern Huskies, delivered a high-intensity sophomore season in 2026 with 19 strikeouts across 29.1 innings, including two saves and a 6.75 ERA[2][7]. His differentiators include a relentless mound presence, two-saver reliability, and a clean injury history since joining in 2025[4]. Though his ERA reflects early development, his 6.5 K/9 rate and FactoryMade 2024 pedigree signal strong upside[5][9]. With three years of eligibility remaining and a transfer portal entry noted as LHP (likely a profile error; he is RHP), he remains a high-fit, intensity-driven prospect for teams seeking a developing arm with save experience[6][7].
