young Hofstra arm with size, right-handed power, and upside
Haig is a freshman right-handed pitcher for Hofstra whose current 2026 line shows growing pains, but also the kind of frame and arm profile coaches target for long-term development. She has logged innings for the Pride and brings a 5'9" presence in the circle, with enough pedigree to have drawn strong recruiting interest before college. The appeal here is projection: if your staff wants a pitcher who can be molded, sharpen command, and develop into a dependable innings eater, Haig is a plausible fit; if you need immediate shutdown results, the current production says she is still in the build phase.[1][8][10]
