Darrius Brown brings sneaky pop, speed, and two-way versatility for UMES
In the 2026 season, Darrius Brown emerged as a high-impact bat for Maryland Eastern Shore, finishing .255 with five home runs, 22 RBIs, 33 runs scored, and a team-leading 14 stolen bases, while also flashing enough arm value to log pitching appearances[13][14]. He’s the kind of player who can flip a game with speed or a timely extra-base hit, and his season included moments like a leadoff homer against Le Moyne and a three-hit night against New Haven[3][7][8]. For a roster needing athleticism, intensity, and a multi-position spark plug, Brown looks like a legit fit[1][13].
