Central Arkansas Infielder with Elite Batting Power and Team-Leading RBI Intensity
In the 2026 season, Nate Negre (Central Arkansas Bears) delivered a .295 batting average with a massive .483 OPS, driving in 40 runs to tie for the team lead and ranking 3rd overall in RBIs [2][6][8]. His differentiator is not just his power (10 doubles, 1 HR) but his relentless intensity; he was clocked No. 4 on the #SCTop10 list, showcasing a 'yard sale' swing that looks painful yet effective, proving he thrives under pressure [7]. Negre is an athletic 5-10, 165 lb. infielder with a medium frame and present strength, known for his clutch performance like a 3-RBI game against North [4][6]. He is a perfect fit for any team needing a high-intensity, RBI-focused infielder who consistently extends leads, as seen when his single drove in two to push Central Arkansas to 4 [3]. No significant injury history is noted, but his 'painful' swing suggests he plays with a gritty, fearless personality that elevates team morale [7].
