Davis Andrews brings size, recruiting pedigree, and real upside to Utah’s safety room
In the 2026 season, Utah freshman safety Davis Andrews arrives as a 6-foot-3, 200-pound former three-star recruit who was ranked the No. 5 player in Utah by 247Sports and earned two-time All-State honors in high school. His appeal is the blend of length, physicality, and runway: Utah added him after a two-year mission, and analysts noted he could push for playing time because the skills are there and he was high on the staff’s board coming out of American Fork.
