Alec Bouchard turned into Wofford’s ace and SoCon Pitcher of the Year
In the 2026 season, Wofford right-hander Alec Bouchard emerged as one of the Southern Conference’s top arms, going 9-3 with a 2.83 ERA over 86.0 innings, 104 strikeouts, and a team-leading workload that earned him SoCon Pitcher of the Year honors and a 14th-round MLB Draft selection by the Twins. His biggest differentiator is the leap in command and run prevention from earlier seasons, plus the durability to start every outing. If you need a strike-throwing, workload-capable starter with proven Friday-night upside, this is a very solid fit.
