Tyus Jones still reads the floor like a chess master
In the 2014-15 season at Duke, Tyus Jones was the steady engine of a title team, averaging 11.8 points, 5.6 assists, and a Duke freshman-record 2.86 assist-to-turnover ratio. His biggest differentiator is feel: he controls tempo, protects the ball, and makes the right read under pressure, which is why he was trusted to run the show as a freshman. He’s not a pure volume scorer, but if your team needs calm, precision, and a guard who elevates everyone else, Jones is a very smart fit.
