Anakin Underhill brings striking upside with a towering frame and power-pitcher profile at Sacred Heart
In the 2026 season, Sacred Heart RHP Anakin Underhill flashed real upside as a 6-foot-7, 230-pound righty who struck out 8 batters in 11.1 innings across 7 appearances, including 4 starts, though his ERA sat at 14.29 as he worked through the usual freshman growing pains. He made his collegiate debut on Feb. 14, 2026, and later hit a season-best 3.0 innings at Quinnipiac, a sign the staff trusted him to stretch out. Why care? The frame, strikeout ability, and starter-relief flexibility are intriguing; the development question is command and consistency.
