high-usage, two-way SFA guard and Southland standout
Keon Thompson emerged as one of Stephen F. Austin’s most valuable guards in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, pairing efficient scoring with strong rebound and steal production for a backcourt player. In 2025-26, he was named Southland Conference Player of the Year after averaging 18.1 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, and he won five Player of the Week awards while consistently ranking near the top of the league in scoring and assists. His fit is strongest for teams that want a tough, experienced, high-usage guard who can create offense, defend, and handle pressure.
