Veteran UAB big man with efficient paint production and board work
In his UAB seasons, Alihodzic was a steady, physical center who gave the Blazers efficient interior scoring, strong rebounding, and reliable free-throw shooting; in 2013-14 he averaged 8.8 points and 6.3 rebounds while starting every game. He also had a defensive edge, earning UAB’s Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2012-13, and his game translated well because he played with size, toughness, and low-ego consistency rather than flash. If your team needs a hard-nosed, mature, paint-first big, he fits.
