Former pro infielder, but not an active NC State Wolfpack player
The available sources identify Sherman Johnson as a former professional infielder from Florida State who reached MLB with the Angels, not as an active NC State Wolfpack player in 2026.[1][2] Because there is no reliable current college stat line or team status tied to NC State in the provided results, I can’t responsibly assess his present performance, fit, or rankings for the Wolfpack. If you meant a different Sherman Johnson—or a current NC State infielder—I’d need the corrected player identity to give a useful scouting-style summary.
