Madison McDowell gives Jackson State a battle-tested right arm in the circle
McDowell, a senior RHP for Jackson State in 2026, looks like a durable, game-steadying arm who can win and eat innings when she’s on: she earned wins early in the season and, in a standout April outing, went 5.0 innings with 3 hits, 0 runs, and 2 strikeouts in a 2026 win. She also shows the kind of competitive edge coaches love, but her season has had some volatility, including a few rougher starts that pushed her record to 4-3. The fit? Good if your team wants experience, toughness, and strike-throwing grit.
