Jared Savage is WKU’s reliable two-way wing who rebounds like a forward and scores like a guard
Savage’s value comes from his all-around production and toughness: in the 2019-20 season at Western Kentucky, he averaged 11.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 34.6 minutes per game while shooting 44.8% from the field, and he backed that up with a 24-point, 16-rebound, 45-minute outing that earned C-USA Player of the Week honors.[7][3] He fits best as a high-motor, versatile G/F who can defend, rebound, and absorb heavy minutes, which makes him especially attractive to teams that need a dependable glue guy rather than a pure volume scorer.[3][7]
