Ben Kochany brings local ace pedigree and early Spartan bullpen depth
Kochany entered Michigan State as a Bay City Western standout and first-team all-state pitcher, giving the Spartans a **6-foot-2, right-handed arm** with proven winning-track credibility and game-day poise. [1][2] He already debuted out of the bullpen for MSU, which suggests the staff trusts him in relief leverage, and that blend of starter’s background plus bullpen adaptability makes him a useful fit for teams needing strike-throwing stability and competitive edge rather than pure velocity hype.
