Carys Baker is becoming a do-everything ACC forward for Virginia Tech
In the 2025-26 season, Carys Baker emerged as a high-minute, two-way centerpiece for Virginia Tech, starting all 33 games and averaging 14.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while finishing top-20 in 12 ACC statistical categories. She stands out for her size, shot-making from the perimeter, toughness on the glass, and ability to impact the game without needing the ball every trip. The biggest fit question is whether a team wants a poised, expanding forward who can score, defend, and play through contact—because Baker clearly brings that.
