Logyn Eckheart brings size, pedigree, and upward momentum to UND’s defensive interior
Eckheart is a 6-foot-2, 307-pound defensive tackle who has moved from redshirt and reserve work into a deeper role for North Dakota, and UND’s spring preview says he brings “a ton” of experience up the middle. He was a two-time all-state lineman at Glenwood High School, where he piled up 70 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks, and his frame plus basketball background suggest both power and agility. He fits best for a team needing a sturdy, physical interior defender with room to keep developing rather than a finished product.
