RJ Shamberger is a long, physical young DT with upside at Troy
Shamberger, listed at 6-foot-4 and 301 pounds for Troy in 2026, brings the kind of frame that can swallow gaps and keep linebackers clean. The current stat sheet is thin, so the appeal is mostly in projection: a big-bodied interior defender with room to grow into a disruptive early-down anchor if his hand usage and leverage keep improving. The Tigers? No — the Trojans are betting on size, strength, and developmental upside here, not flash. If you want a rugged interior piece with multi-year ceiling, he’s a fit.
