Caden Earing looks like a developing righty with innings-eating upside for SLU
In the 2026 season, Saint Louis freshman right-hander Caden Earing has flashed real value as a strike-throwing arm who can keep games moving, including a three-hitless-inning win over Utah Tech and a four-inning start against Southern Indiana in which he allowed just two hits and a walk.[4][6][7] The early read: he’s not overpowering on paper, but he competes, gives the Billikens length, and has been described by SLU as a quality young arm expected to see considerable mound time.[4]
