Fresno State’s Workhorse With Big-Play Juice
In the 2025 season, Elijah Gilliam gave Fresno State a physical, dependable backfield presence, finishing with 234 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns on 43 carries while adding 53 receiving yards on 7 catches. At 5-foot-10, 215 pounds, he runs with a sturdy, downhill style and showed his best burst in the regular-season finale, when he posted 92 rushing yards and 2 scores at San Jose State. He’s a good fit for teams wanting a tough, experienced RB who can finish drives, handle contact, and chip in as a receiver without needing the ball 20 times to matter.
