Cristien Banda is a dependable lefty bullpen piece with strikeout flashes and polish
In the 2025 season, Long Beach State left-hander Cristien Banda appeared in 14 games and logged a 3.38 ERA, holding opponents to a .196 average while flashing solid control and enough swing-and-miss to matter. The standout here is the profile: a 6-1, 200-pound redshirt junior who throws left-handed, gives the Beach matchup value, and already earned Academic All-Conference recognition. He’s not a headline-grabbing fireballer, but he looks like the kind of steady, smart, situational arm coaches trust when the game gets a little spicy.
