Amir Gray brings left-handed depth and a growing bat to Dayton
In the 2026 season, Amir Gray has been a reserve piece for Dayton, appearing in 13 games with 11 at-bats and collecting 1 RBI while also taking on a 1B/OF role as a 6'1", left-handed hitter and right-handed thrower.[1][2] He looks like a classic development upside play: not yet a volume-stat guy, but a versatile, coachable roster fit who can help with matchup flexibility and give a team a bat that still has room to grow.[1][2][4]
