Dax Whitney is a frontline ace with electric strikeout stuff
In the 2026 season, Dax Whitney emerged as one of college baseball’s most overpowering right-handers, piling up elite strikeout totals, touching 101 mph, and pairing premium velocity with attack-the-zone feel. He was widely praised as a national standout and even drew first-team All-America recognition, but the biggest flag is durability: he underwent UCL surgery after a dominant April. If your team wants pure swing-and-miss upside and big-game stuff, he’s the kind of arm that changes weekends—just with real injury risk attached.
