Wright State’s block-hunting, defense-first forward
Etumnu is a 6-7 senior forward who brings immediate rim protection and toughness to Wright State, coming off a 2024-25 season at Merrimack where he led the MAAC with 73 blocks and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. He’s not a high-volume scorer, but his value jumps off the page in shot-blocking, physicality, and activity around the glass. In 2025-26, his early Wright State output has been modest offensively, yet his defensive ceiling and proven ability to change games without needing touches make him a strong fit for teams that want an energetic, defense-first frontcourt piece.
