Aspen Thornton brings proven WAC experience and steady two-way guard play to UT Arlington
Thornton is a skilled, experienced guard whose best calling cards are scoring, playmaking, and defensive activity: in her first two seasons at Abilene Christian she averaged 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, then earned WAC Co-Sixth Player of the Year honors at UT Arlington after providing bench scoring and pressure defense. She’s a good fit for a team needing a reliable, league-tested connector who can create offense without hijacking it, compete hard every possession, and supply veteran poise in bigger games.
