Makoi Mabor Makoi brings size, rebounding, and hustle energy to UNCW
Makoi Mabor Makoi is a 6-foot-11 forward for UNCW whose value is more about disruptive length, activity on the glass, and defensive effort than box-score volume; in 2025-26 he has been a low-usage rotation piece, while his UNCW bio notes he posted 16 points, four steals, and a block across nine games in 2024-25 and once grabbed a season-high seven rebounds in 17 minutes. He is appealing as a fit for teams that want a physical, effort-first big who can change possessions without needing plays called for him, though his offensive role remains limited.[2][10][5]
