Preston Ohm brings a big-bodied lefty profile with starter upside
Preston Ohm is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound redshirt freshman left-handed pitcher at St. Thomas who already showed high-end amateur value as a top-10 Minnesota prospect in the 2024 class; Prep Baseball noted his fastball in the low-90s with heavy run, and St. Thomas lists him as a developing LHP with a strong frame that should support more velocity and durability. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a projectable, power-leaning lefty with real strikeout traits, though the key question is how quickly his stuff and command translate against Division I hitters.
