Eric Olsen is Utah Tech’s reliable seam-stretching tight end with big-play juice
In the 2025 season, Eric Olsen emerged as a featured passing-game weapon for Utah Tech, finishing with 52 catches for 583 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also earning second-team all-UAC honors[3][12]. Utah Tech described him as a converted wide receiver and one of the fastest players on the team, and that speed shows up in his ability to attack the seam, separate in space, and create after the catch[11]. At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, he brings a modern TE profile: mismatch size, reliable hands, and enough blocking effort to stay on the field in multiple looks[11].
