Leadership-Driven OF with Elite Speed and Big West Service Award
Amira Paloma Villaneda, a 5'4" sophomore outfielder for Cal State Fullerton, stands out not just for her elite speed (pinch-running for seven runs and advancing to third on a wild pitch in 2026) but for her transformative leadership as the SAAC president and 2025-26 Big West Service and Leadership Award winner. While her 2025 stats show limited games (4), her 2026 intensity is undeniable: she scored seven runs as a pinch runner, made four outfield putouts, and consistently leverages her agility to create scoring opportunities. Her differentiator is her rare blend of athletic grit and community impact—she’s a mentor, champion, and team culture builder who thrives under pressure. For any team seeking a high-intensity, low-maintenance player with off-field excellence, Villaneda is a perfect fit: she brings speed, resilience, and a leader’s mindset that elevates everyone around her.
