Madden Clement’s left arm is back—and bats are noticing
In the 2026 season, Virginia Tech left-hander Madden Clement finished strong after missing over a year with an arm injury, posting a 3.95 ERA in 13.2 innings with 13 strikeouts and showing he can miss bats from the left side[5][9][15]. The differentiator is the rebound: he’s a 6-foot-3, 210-pound southpaw with starter traits, family baseball bloodlines, and enough strike-throwing upside to earn a Royals draft pick, even if durability remains the big question mark[1][7][9].
