Two-Way upside with Rhode Island grit
John Mass entered Boston College as a highly decorated Rhode Island standout, and in the 2026 season he appeared in three games as a right-handed pitcher, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out five in 2.2 scoreless innings. He brings a rare RHP/INF profile, switch-hits, and a reputation as a former multi-time all-state, all-conference captain with a real bat-to-ball pedigree. If you need a competitive, versatile player with athlete bloodlines and some sneaky upside, he’s worth a look; the big question is how much two-way value he ultimately unlocks.
