Developing Guard Fighting for Playing Time at Nevada
A 5'11" junior guard from Reno who joined Nevada as a walk-on in 2023-24, Motherway is still working to establish herself in the rotation. In the 2024-25 season, she appeared in limited action, recording just one point and two rebounds across two games.[1] Her high school pedigree is solid—she averaged 8.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 steals as a junior at Bishop Manogue in 2021-22, shooting 39% from the field and 35% from three.[1] However, the transition to college has been gradual. Motherway represents a developmental prospect with three-point range and defensive potential, but she'll need to earn consistent minutes to prove her fit at the NCAA level.
