Emi Jeras is Indiana State’s freshman spark plug with real middle-of-the-order pop
In the 2026 season, Emi Jeras emerged as a difference-maker for Indiana State, earning MVC Freshman of the Week after homering in all three games against UIC and driving in nine runs, including a five-RBI breakout night.[1][6] She finished the 2026 season with a .273 batting average, .876 OPS, and four home runs, and her recruiting profile points to a versatile defender with catcher/third-base flexibility, a strong arm, and high softball IQ.[7][10] She looks like the kind of player who brings juice, adaptability, and clutch power—exactly the sort of freshman you want if you’re building around toughness and upside.[1][10]
