Tavian Branch brings size, power, and SEC-upside to Auburn’s interior line
Auburn freshman DL Tavian Branch arrives as a legit space-eater at 6-foot-4, 320 pounds, with a strong high-school résumé that included 11.5 sacks, 61 tackles, and 27 tackles for loss as a senior in 2024, plus 65 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and 25 TFL in 2023. He was rated a three-star recruit and ranked around No. 58–61 among 2026 defensive linemen, making him more of a high-upside trench project than a finished product. The draw? Length, mass, and interior toughness—exactly the kind of profile that can become a nasty SEC rotational piece if his pad level and hand usage catch up.
