Jordan Dickerson brought Penn State rare size and rim protection
In the 2015-16 season, Jordan Dickerson was a 7-foot-1 senior center for Penn State who gave the Nittany Lions a true interior presence: size, shot-blocking, and a physical target around the rim. Across his Penn State career, he played 88 games and started 50, with his 2014-15 stat line showing 3.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game in 34 games, a solid indicator of why coaches trusted him as a defensive anchor. Penn State described him as bringing “tremendous size, athleticism and a great work ethic,” which fits a high-motor role big more than a polished scorer.
