Athina Lexa is a battle-tested 5-9 guard whose recent production at Canisius showed real value: in the 2023-24 season, she averaged 11.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 31 games, earned MAAC Sixth Player of the Year, and shot 80.8% from the free-throw line. She also proved she can handle bigger moments, scoring 15-plus points in five of the final seven regular-season games. EMU’s roster notes say she joined Eastern Michigan as a transfer and sat out a season with an injury, so the fit hinges on health—but when right, she looks like a tough, efficient backcourt scorer who can steady an offense.
